We know families are busy. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling—including weekends, early mornings, and sensory-friendly appointments—to make your child’s dental visits easy and convenient across our three locations.
Don’t see the appointment time you need online? Give us a call and we’ll make it work for you.
We accept all dental plans that allow you to choose your own provider. While we are in-network only with The Permanente Medical Group through MetLife, we will happily file claims on your behalf so your insurance can reimburse you directly. If you’d like to know what your plan will cover in advance, we can submit a pre-estimate request for you. Our team is here to make the process as clear and stress-free as possible.
Explanation:
At Aloha Pediatric Dentistry, our priority is your child’s dental health. We accept all dental plans that allow you to choose your own provider.
Dental coverage works a little differently than medical insurance. Instead of covering everything after you meet a deductible, most dental plans are designed to help with part of the cost of care up to a yearly maximum. That’s why we call it a dental plan rather than full insurance, it’s more like a benefit program that helps offset your child’s dental expense
We are currently in-network only with The Permanente Medical Group through MetLife
If your plan allows you to choose your own provider, payment will be collected at the time of your child’s appointment. We’ll handle submitting the claim to your dental plan, and they’ll send any reimbursement directly to you.
If you’d like to know your estimated reimbursement ahead of time, we’re happy to send a pre-estimate request to your plan. Responses typically arrive within 1–4 weeks, though some plans reply even sooner.
We want to work with you to help you understand your plan and receive your reimbursement as quickly as possible. If paying at the time of service creates a concern for your family, please contact us, we are here to help.
Please keep in mind that dental insurance is not like medical insurance. Dental plans rarely cover 100% of treatment and should not dictate what care your child receives. Think of dental plans as a coupon; they may reduce your costs at their discretion, but they do not always provide what is best for your child’s health.
We understand this can sometimes feel like a financial burden. That’s why we strive to be transparent and supportive, guiding you through every step of the process.
