Joseph
K. Wampler, D.D.S.
Dr.
Wampler was born in 1938 and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He
went to Miami of Ohio from 1956 to 1959. He entered the University
of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in the fall of 1959 and graduated
in 1963. Dr. Wampler entered the Navy as a dentist in 1963 and
stayed until 1967. He did a two year Pediatric Dental Residency at
Northwestern University and graduated in 1969.
Dr. Wampler started the dental practice
in 1969 on Allston Way treating children in Dr. Don Lenzi’s office.
He was practicing half time while running the graduate pediatric
dental program at Children’s Hospital in Oakland. In 1972, he moved
to 3010 Colby St. and started his own practice while sharing the
waiting room with Dr. Lenzi.
He belongs to the American Dental
Association, California Dental Society, Berkeley Dental Society,
California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry. His interests are traveling, gardening,
helping take care of the grandchildren and exercising.

Neil
M. Katsura, D.D.S.

Dr. Katsura, a Bay Area native,
graduated from Cal in1980. Go Bears! His interests were in the
health field and became passionate about children's dentistry
following a summer internship with Dr. Joseph Wampler. After earning
a DDS degree from the University of California San Francisco in
1984, he completed a pediatric and hospital dentistry residency at
UCSF and Children’s Hospital Oakland in 1987.
Dr. Katsura is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Golden
Gate Pedodontic Study Club. He is active on the Craniofacial Panel
and is a medical staff attending for hospital dentistry at
Children’s Hospital Oakland. Also, he is associated with other
dental organizations – California Dental Association, American
Dental Association, and Berkeley Dental Society. Currently, he is a
board member of UCSF Pediatric Dental Alumni Association. He holds a
part time position as Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at
UCSF; and is the director of a pediatric community clinic in
Berkeley--Lifelong Dental. As a family, his wife, Jane, and two
daughters, Kaitlin and Kelly, love to travel, ski, golf and cook
gourmet meals.

Robert
A. Khalil, D.D.S.
Dr. Robert Khalil, “Dr. Bob”, was born
and raised in the Bay Area (Foster City and San Ramon). He earned
his Bachelor’s degree in behavioral biology at UC Berkeley and his
Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He
continued with an additional two years of postdoctoral studies at
UCLA and earned his certificate in the specialty of Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Bob holds memberships in the following organizations:
California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of
Pediatric Dentistry, American and California Dental Associations,
member of the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Dental Society.
Besides dentistry, he devotes much of his time to his family and his
other interests, which include travel, music (especially piano) and
photography. He is a loyal Cal fan.

Arnold
H. Nakazato, D.D.S.

Dr. Nakazato was born in Berkeley and
raised in El Cerrito. He earned a Bachelors degree in Microbiology
from UC Davis. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from
Columbia University followed by a pediatric dental residency at UCSF.
Dr. Nakazato is a member of the American Dental Association,
California Dental Association, Berkeley Dental Society, California
Society of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the
American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry.
In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling
with his wife and two daughters. He also likes to play tennis and
skiing.

Ameneh
Khosrovani, D.D.S., M.S

Dr. Khosrovani spent a majority of her
youth in Italy, Austria, and South Africa. Because of her travels,
she is familiar not only with English, but also with Farsi, German,
Italian and French. Her family eventually settled in Orinda where
she attended Miramonte High School. She received her undergraduate
degree from UC Berkeley and graduated from UCSF Dental School in
2000. Inspired by her father, a dedicated pediatrician for the last
40 years, she chose the specialty of pediatrics. Dr. Khosrovani
completed her three-year residency program in 2003 with a
Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, and Masters Degree in Oral and
Craniofacial Sciences.
Dr. Khosrovani is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the
American and California Dental Associations and the Berkeley Dental
Society. She also volunteers as a part-time faculty member at
Lifelong Dental Clinic in Berkeley.
Dr. Khosrovani lives in Alamo with her husband, a physician at
Kaiser in Walnut Creek. She enjoys spending most of her time with
her energetic toddler and family. Other hobbies/interests include
cooking, spinning, yoga, flower arranging and participating in
Lamorinda Mom's Club events.

Carole
S. Miyahara, D.D.S.

Dr. Miyahara was
born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a daughter of an
orthodontist and granddaughter of a dentist, she knew from an
early age she was interested in pediatric dentistry. She attended Punahou High School, and upon graduation left for the mainland to
continue her education. She attended U.C. Berkeley, Northwestern
Dental School and did her pediatric dentistry residency at the USC
School of Dentistry. She then returned home to Hawaii and opened her
own dental practice. After growing her community practice for more
than 7 years, she sold it to return to California, and has been with
Wampler/Katsura ever since.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and
a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental
Association and the Berkeley Dental Society.
Dr. Miyahara lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young
sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting parks,
museums and beaches.

Megan Golinveaux,
D.D.S.
Dr.
Megan Golinveaux is known for her energy, humor, and patience. She
strongly believes in building a trusting relationship with her
patients and creating a fun, welcoming environment for both the
patients and the parents. Dr. Megan Golinveaux received her
Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental
School and then completed an advanced education in general dentistry
from UCSF. She then went on to complete her advanced specialty
training in pediatric dentistry at UCSF. She received both a
certificate in pediatric dentistry as well as a Masters degree in
oral and craniofacial sciences from UCSF during her 3 year
residency. Dr. Megan Golinveaux is dedicated to nurturing a positive
atmosphere during all dental visits and is experienced in handling
all the dental needs for infants, children and adolescents. Dr.
Megan Golinveaux is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In her
spare time you will find her outdoors either running, biking,
skiing, hiking or swimming.
We look forward to having Dr. Megan Golinveaux join our Pediatric
Dental group, she will start seeing patients in the summer months
and Saturdays.
